As a German asset manager, we specialize in Alternative Investment strategies for private and professional investors. Our aim is to provide tailored access to carefully selected Alternative Investment strategies and professionally managed assets, offered under onemarkets by UniCredit.

Management Board
Ingo Hartlief (FRICS)
Ingo Hartlief has been Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Invest Alternatives (formerly Wealthcap) since September 2023. He coordinates the executive management and is responsible for Sales, Product Strategy, and Finance.
Ingo Hartlief began his career in 1991 in the Group Development staff department at VEBA AG (now E.ON). This was followed by various positions as Managing Director at Veba Immobilien, now Vonovia. In 2002, he joined the real estate capital management companies of Union Investment as Managing Director. In 2010, he moved to the Corpus Sireo Group (now Swiss Life Asset Managers) as Co-CEO, where he also founded, among other things, the German Swiss Life real estate KVG. Most recently, he served as CEO of Demire AG.
Ingo Hartlief completed his degree in Business Administration in Cologne, with time spent in New York, graduating in 1991 with a Diplom-Kaufmann degree. Following various real estate-related executive education programs, including at EBS, INSEAD, and Harvard, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2016. He is a personal member of the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry and serves on several additional advisory boards.
Antoine de
Oliveira e Castro
Antoine Castro has been a Managing Director of UniCredit Invest Alternatives since August 2026. As a member of the Management Board, he is responsible for the strategic development, transformation and growth of the company alongside the other members of the Management Board, with a particular focus on further developing it as a diversified alternative investment management platform across real estate, private markets and other alternative strategies.
Antoine Castro has nearly 30 years of international experience across alternative investments, real estate, investment management, corporate strategy and governance. Prior to joining UniCredit, Antoine Castro was a Global Partner and Senior Vice President of Fosun International, a global investment group. During his time at Fosun, he held a number of senior executive and governance positions across the Group’s European investment activities, including Chairman and CEO of PAREF Group, Chairman of Resolution Property and Chairman of Fosun’s real estate activities in Iberia. Before joining Fosun, Antoine Castro held a senior investment role at Quantum Global, which acted as investment manager for the Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA). Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Morgan Stanley Real Estate, focusing on investment management and complex real estate transactions, and at Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary.
Antoine Castro studied Economics, Money and Finance at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and holds a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Corporate Finance from Université d’Évry-Val-d’Essonne.
Julian Schnurrer
Julian Schnurrer has been a Managing Director at UniCredit Invest Alternatives since September 2026. In this role, Julian Schnurrer is responsible for Portfolio and Asset Management and contributes to the further development of the company’s alternative investment platform.
Julian Schnurrer has been with UniCredit Invest Alternatives, formerly Wealthcap, since 2009. Most recently, Julian Schnurrer served as Head of Portfolio Management & Financing Real Estate. Prior to that, Julian Schnurrer held various management positions in product management, strategy and structuring. His responsibilities included the development and structuring of investment solutions across real estate and alternative asset classes for private and institutional investors. Julian Schnurrer began his career within the UniCredit Group in 2002 at HypoVereinsbank. There, he initially worked with affluent and private banking clients before moving into client segment management, where his responsibilities included products and services as well as projects related to the international development of the business.
Julian Schnurrer holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and is a trained banker. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Real Estate and Banking and completed further education in Real Estate Asset Management at IREBS Immobilienakademie.
